I am the founder, conceptor, designer, and author of this hobbyist's blog site.
I am a map specialist by profession. I have wide experience in various map-making and map-delivery processes used in the mapping industry, including sourcing, specifications defining, database designing, map creation, map data validations, mapping application development, map extractions and map publications. Having a good foundation in GIS, ESRI’s ArcGIS System, Satellite Image Processing, and various data exchange formats and standards, I devote some of my free time in further learning updates in GIS, map data formats, and new mapping technologies.
When I am not working I like to spend time in gardening, going on weekend drives, listening to my favourite music, helping my wife in cooking, and playing with my kid. At times, I also try hands on some photography but I am not an expert in it. After all these activities if I get any spare time, I try to devote that in updating the contents in this blog site.
